Congratulations America!

Congratulations America!

You did it! You set a precedent! Now when all the liberals and "progressive" people out there are done patting each other on the back please take a minute to realize what you have actually done. YOU drank the Kool Aid. You bought into the hype created by the liberal media machine. The same machine that was more worried about what Gov. Palin was wearing ona daily basis than important issues. You wanted change, well you're going to get it. Talk to me in a couple of months when the capital gains tax shoots up to around 30%. See how you like when the minimum wage changes, and the unemployment rate rises right along with it. Or when our military forces overseas changes and we begin to withdraw and someone else flys a plane into a building. Or the Big Red Dragon that is Korea and China senses our new found weakness in leadership and decides now is a good time to test us. Or when the healthcare system changes and the standard of care is lowered. Or when big corparations are further taxed and decide it's cheaper to do business outside our borders and pack up and leave. Like Hershey's chocolate did. That's sure to help the economy. (Thanks NAFTA) For the past few years people have been ridiculing the President, for mistakes and decisions that were made. When the fact is no administration has had this much to deal with since the second world war. So lets put someone in the White house with no experience. Great Idea! Yes Obama is charismatic and a good speaker and talks of change, so was another world leader afew years back......Hitler, you may have heard of him. Obama's economic plans are socialism plain and simple if you can't see that well there is no hope for you, you've been blinded by the golden voice and that slick smile of his. Socilaism is like cold fusion it looks good on paper, but no one has figured out how to make it work right. And when it goes wrong it blows everything up. Ask the Russians. I realized it's unfair to compare our President elect to Hitler and former Russian leaders, they had experience, he does not. So congratulations America you weakened a nation tonight. Enjoy your Kool Aid, I hope it taste as good in four years!

Well said, Jim!
I couldn't agree with you more.
I woke up feeling a little sick and sad this morning.

I wonder if school will be excused from saying the pledge of allegiance now? If fact, it might be considered patriotic, since their president doesn't do it.

This election felt like an embarassingly media-hyped, national junior high popularity contest.

I am still glad I live in America, but I think America is changing in ways that make in un-Amercian. Which makes me very scared.
